Ingredients
- Avocados cubed
- Corn
- Fresh Cilantro
- Red onion
- Bell pepper from the garden
- Jalapeno
- Cherry tomatoes
- Garlic
- Cumin
Instructions
-
Prepare Ingredients:
- Cube the avocados and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- If your corn is raw, cook it first (either boil, grill, or roast), then cut the kernels off the cob. Add the corn to the bowl with the avocados.
- Finely chop fresh cilantro, red onion, the bell pepper from your garden, and a jalapeƱo (remove the seeds if you prefer less heat). Add these to the bowl.
- Halve or quarter the cherry tomatoes, depending on their size, and add them to the mix.
- Mince the garlic and add it to the other ingredients.
-
Season and Mix: Sprinkle cumin over the mixture for a warm, earthy flavor. Gently toss all the ingredients together, being careful not to mash the avocados too much.
-
Serve and Enjoy: Serve this colorful and fresh salsa as a side dish, with chips, or as a topping for grilled meats or fish. It’s a perfect blend of creamy, crunchy, sweet, and spicy flavors.
