- 1 oz tequila
- 1/2 oz triple sec
- Clamato juice (tomato-clam juice)
- Cholula hot sauce (to taste)
- The juice of 1 lime
- 1 bottle Modelo beer (or any Mexican lager)
- Tajin (for rimming the glass)
- Ice cubes
- Additional lime wedges for garnish
Instructions
- Rim the Glass:
- Take a lime wedge and run it around the rim of your glass to moisten it.
- Dip the rim in Tajin to coat it.
- Mix the Cocktail:
- Fill the glass halfway with ice cubes.
- Add tequila and triple sec.
- Squeeze in the juice of one lime.
- Pour in Clamato juice to fill about a third of the glass.
- Add a few dashes of Cholula hot sauce to taste. You can make it as mild or as spicy as you like.
- Add the Beer:
- Slowly top up the glass with Modelo beer. The beer will mix with the other ingredients as it pours. Leave a little room at the top to stir.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Gently stir to combine all the ingredients.
- Garnish with a wedge of lime on the rim of the glass.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing mix of spicy, savory, and tangy flavors.
