This versatile buffalo sauce can be used for wings, as a dip for veggies, or a spicy kick to sandwiches and wraps. The addition of BBQ sauce adds a unique twist to the classic buffalo flavor, offering a hint of sweetness to the tangy and spicy profile. Enjoy your homemade sauce with your favorite dishes!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 bottle of Frank’s Red Hot sauce
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 tbsp fresh garlic, chopped
  • 1 packet of Good Seasons Zesty Italian dressing mix
  • 1/4 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce (opt for a ‘plain’ style rather than a smoky one to balance the heat)
  • Cayenne pepper to taste (optional for extra heat)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt the stick of butter over low heat.
  2. Add the chopped fresh garlic and the packet of Good Seasons Zesty Italian dressing mix to the melted butter. Stir and cook until the garlic is translucent and aromatic.
  3. Pour in the entire bottle of Frank’s Red Hot sauce to the mixture.
  4. Add the BBQ sauce and stir well to ensure all ingredients are fully combined.
  5. If you prefer a spicier sauce, add cayenne pepper to taste.
  6. Let the sauce simmer for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together and the sauce to thicken slightly.
  7. Once the sauce is done, remove it from the heat. It can be used immediately or stored in a jar or container in the refrigerator for future use.

Notes
